I don’t know if anyone’s posted this but here is a link to how they restored a former Santa Fe F-45 and converted it to a Great Northern big sky blue luxury suite for the Izaak Walton Inn in Essex Montana. It’s pretty cool. It follows the whole renovation all the way from Iowa to lifting and moving it to it’s new home in front of the Izaak Walton Inn.

there was an article in one of the Locomotive Specials Trains magazine a year or two back about this. It's actually really cool. I love how the cab is fully restored and the controls work. Now if only they could rig up the DCC sound system from hell inside her
