Can someone explain to me why I'm able to create and save my own consist and even import them into the surveyor list, in the global consist library in TRS2010 or TRS10, and then not be able to use them anywhere in the game?

I'm supposed to create a 200 car consist each time I want to have a train created from a portal?

Please tell me I'm misunderstanding or don't have a clue what I'm talking about!

Another way is to make a mile long, balloon, turn around, multi "Staging Track" yard ... instead of using portals.

"HO" model RR clubs have been using "Staging Yards" for decades to store inbound trains, make up new consists, and release trains back to the mainline.
