Ghost Track!

Here's a strange one...I wanted to do a quick test run of a larger layout I've been working on. Things were going fine until I found my tracks disappearing over certain stretches. At first, I thought perhaps the spline height got messed up. But no, when I'm in Surveyor, the track is visible and I had used the "Smooth Spline Height" tool. The other clue is in the image below...the train seems to be floating just above the ground, like the rails are there, but they're just not showing up in Driver. Note that the train does look like it's floating a little higher than I would expect if the rails were there.

I'm using tracks CT#1 1520 mm ( - ) <kuid:134512:200001> which I have used a bunch of times before without issue. Why I like them is the level of detail...but could that be the problem? Is my computer choking on rendering them? The odd thing is this was over part of the layout where I had yet to add any textures or scenery. I did not notice the problem in the sections where there are more assets to potentially overburden things.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing before? And, if so, is there a solution? Thanks!

Just checked CM and it couldn't find that kuid. the track is probably broken. try using a different type of track and see if it works correctly.

The name is CT#1 1520 mm ( - ), but searching on that won't turn anything up. Searching on CT#1 1520 mm does, however. I ran the layout five times and after the 4th time it went back to normal and hasn't been a problem since. One of those bizarre things in Trainz that keeps this forum hopping, I guess!
