Getting to the Forums!

I cannot be certain but is anyone else having trouble getting to the Forums? it takes 15 minutes to get to the DLS then 5 more to the forums and 5 more to open a thread. Its not just my computer as well as my friends who runs a different internet than i do!

Maby its just me but i was just wondering what everyone else thought!

I am running Cox high speed , Win XP , no problems with access to Forum or the DLS , however there appears to be a lag in switching from one topic/forum to another on the Forum .
This seems to have started after Auran had the Forum down for 'service' a week or so ago ?

thats what it is for me aswell. It take a while to switch between certain pages in threads aswell.

I think this has to do with them upgrading their servers right now.

I had trouble accessing the website, but after I cleared the cookies and temporary Internet files, the website loaded fine and the new login option at the top of the page showed up.

Ryan, I saw your thread the other day and thought "yeah, I am having the same problem" but did not reply. Then all of a sudden it seemed to fix itself, now though the problem is back. Not sure what is going on but it may be our ISP's as I have seen it else where too.

Just not sure, it maybe work being done in the back ground by Auran as well and other site I visit are just slow :hehe:

Don't think its the ISP's, unless they're all updating at the same time.
I've noticed quite a lag while switching pages, also when I submit a post (time lapse).
Perhaps they are still working on the server.
At this very moment the TV and my Sat dish are also playing up, but I guess that's coincidence.

Of course, we all could have suffered a Micro-Wave burst, we wouldn't know about it :hehe: .

You may be right Pete, the DLS needs a new face lift so that could be something, but today is a weekend here so no one should be working in Auran. I think there was a mention some time ago about trying to "clean" up the DLS, not sure they meant, but it could also be an answer.

Forums are working faster for me since the facelift.
DLS cleanup involves finding assets that have problems and either trying to fix them or removal.
