GER TRACKPLANS

There was a guy offering to scan track plans from the GER ENGINE SHEDS books but I think this was on the old forum.

Was that you? Or do you remember/know who it was?

Chris

I hope you find that person, LCH, as I would be interested in seeing those. I only hope that they end up in 'Screenshots', as 640x480 images won't be much use. I replied to this thread so that I can receive a notification. Thanks for the thread. Dave

Hmm, it seems to be funny :D Please tell me why do you have a topic called "GER Trackplans" and searching for building plans like engine sheds.

A trackplan is, of course, another thing as a building plan.

If you need trackplans from GER Stations, please tell but i can`t help you with your building plans, i`am sorry.

Ahh, yes !

May you can tell me the GER station name you want to see and i can look at my plans.
And if i failed to find, i`ll tell you an adress to order such plans.

Or do you need a general plan of any GER station ?

Such a big one with sheds etc. ?

If it is so, i`ll search a fine one for you and post it soon :)

But it`s not the book, only real trackplans, i`am sorry.

Oh, a mistake, i am sorry.

I do not know, i think GER is a shortcut for German, what a fool i am :(

Hi Betriebsleiter,

You are not a fool my friend. You made an effort to be very helpful but it was just a slight misunderstanding. It was a kind gesture and very much appreciated.

I think it's exactly what the Trainz community should be all about.

Thank you once again for trying to help.

Hi all,

Perhaps it would help if I explained a bit more.......

I offered to help somebody with a trackplan of Ely station in Cambridsgeshire, England. I have two OS versions plus another in the books 'Great Eastern Railway Engine Shed Vol 1 & 2'.

The problem is, i dont own a scanner or have access to a photocopier. The two OS plans are in books and would be very difficult to photocopy. My wife could take the other version to work and scan them but she has to wait until her Boss's are not about so she doesn't get caught.

The person I'm searching for posted to say he had just purchased 'Great Eastern Railway Engine Shed Vol 1 & 2' and was willing to scan the plans for people on request.

I meant to chase this up at the time, but all hell broke out at home on the domestic front and I forgot. The old forum then blew up and the opportunity was lost.

I hope that explains things a little more clearly and thank you for your help.

Chris
