General Motors locos

A question probably best directed at anyone Stateside though I could be wrong.

Iarnród Éireann bought a number of locos from GM's La Grange, Illinois works between 1960 and 1995. They were given the following classifications.
121, 071, 141, 181 and 201, pictures of which can be seen here http://www.irishtractiongroup.com/homepage.htm under the "active" and "withdrawn" loco tabs.

I was wondering if any of these types were also supplied to US operators with a different name or were they custom built for IE? If there are any US versions (or anywhere else for that matter) have they ever been created for Trainz?

Any help or info is much appreciated.

I suspect they were built specifically for export.

looking at the engine types we have similar models but those are all smaller and less hp than the typical US loco. On the other side of the coin, hardly any of our freight locos go faster than 70.
