GeForce 9800 GT - Driver?

Just installed the TS2010EE version of Trainz. During the installation I got a "warning" that my video driver software was out of date.

I am running VISTA, 32 BIT. My video card is an NVDIA GeForce 9800 GT. Going through the windows control panel to check on the hardware and finally finding the "update driver" button I ran it. After it automatically did its on-line check it ended with the message: Windows has determined that the driver software for your device is up to date.

My driver number is 7.15.11.7744.

Question: Who is right? As far as I can tell my pictures look fine, however, admittedly my old eyes don't see the best, LOL.

Something wrong

That DRIVER "washed out" the color for me. Contacted DELL and they basically went back to my prior driver, so now I have color again. Since the graphics look good to me, I won't worry about what AURAN's "test" says about my video driver.

Contact Dell and get the updated driver, if any, from them. You can obtain all the drivers for your system via the Dell website. For the best results, and to speed up the support and search, use your service tag number. The STN can be found either in the service tag number can be found in the service tag information in Windows, or on the back of your machine.

I'm not totally certain about this, but an outdated driver seems to have caused me trouble on my first few tries at using TS2010. When saving a route/session in Surveyor it would not commit properly and often would not commit even from CMP. On my last install I can only think of 2 things I did differently:
1. I updated my video card driver before installing.
2. After installing I went to CMP, let it do it's database creation stuff, (forget if that was before CMP or after going to CMP) looked around a little bit, and rebooted before actually running Trainz proper.

Before that, reinstalling had not fixed the problem which occured even when trying to save a newly created and totally empty route on a clean install of TS2010.

As far as color goes, maybe you needed a color profile for your monitor? Or maybe you had some settings in the old driver that just didn't get set the same way on the newer driver.
