-i think it sounds pretty good. i don't know if it was the video or not, but sounds like the transitions between notches, at the beginning, can be a little smoother, but well done! this is one area trs lacks... sounds!

-Okay, here's my .02...(beta tester :D ) After testing the engine sounds in ts12, there are a few warnings, no big deal. My suggestions are, notch 1 to 2 needs to be fixed. there is a slight pause in sound between the two notches. And the last complaint is, idle (notch 0-1) sounds way to fast. Sounds more like a notch 4 or 5.
-These are excellent imo, and with a little more touch up, you will have everyone using these.
-I have one suggestion. Bicotz did this with his engine sounds, is make a faster, slower, and normal version of these engine sounds. If you haven't tried his, look him up on the dls and give them a shot. put all three of his sounds on 3 different locomotives and run them! it sounds very good! I believe these are good enough to put just a little more effort into them and we have one of the best fdl engine sounds for trainz!
-Keep up the good work, hope to hear more!

I agree with SoCalwb909...

 Yes, these enginesounds are great.

Bicotz by the way created enginesounds for older versions, not GEVO as you have.

Thanks!

Does it run, or move ?

Does it work in 04/06/09 or is it just 10 and upward ?
Yes it works. The video was to demonstrate the Engine Sound itself and not the consist. The Config is currently at build 3.2 but if you change the build number to your CMP version they will work. I've tested them in 09 and 06 and they work.

The sounds were recorded directly from a locomotive going from Idle to Notch 8. I'll definitely take your advice and tune them up a bit and take a better listen to them.

-That's great news! Now I'm going to have to edit all my applicable GE engine configs

EDIT: Also btw, when I tested them, I tested them with quite a few different other locomotives for sound levels, see how they matched up. I'd say there dead on but if you wanted, you could probably get away with bumping it up just a hair! Anyway, thank you for this!

No prob so you're saying they don't need to be fixed or adjusted.

No movement...to save fps...

 That's OK, you did make it to wide-open...

That's a place where others have come up short...it's funny what happens when you loop a sound file & have to listen to it for hours.:hehe:

Thanks for the update

 I use the first one, it sounds great in the upper notches but needs do die-off down at idle to almost a whisper, to define when it loads as the throttle is increased.
