GCR

A couple years back I downloaded a most excellent route GCR Forget the gentleman's name who made it Use it all the time detail so stunning and has a fan of all things British you can't get better I was wondering if this route is still a work in progress and if so which versions would that be now thank you in advance.

Think the latest for TS12 is GCR v6. Higher versions up to 10 are for TANE only and it's still very much a work in progress.

I hope to upload the GCR V11 for TANE in the near future. It now extends northwards past Staveley. However, it is still very much a work in progress and I guess will remain so for the foreseeable future. Progress has been slow recently due to many problems with my computing system including having to replace the Dell XPS8900 machine. These are still ongoing, but no doubt will be solved eventually. The other factor is the reconfiguration of the countryside following the demise of the coal mining industry in the north Nottinghamshire and south Derbyshire coalfields. Trying to simulate how things looked in the 1950/1960s presents quite a challenge.

Regards to all,

Peter.

Just downloaded GCR V11 - love it. I've also DL'd the sessions and have the following missing assets, all by Camscott:

Can you tell me which locos these are please?

Dear Kenneth,

I am again without my main computer and will remain so until this weekend, so I cannot help at this moment. However, I usually try to use the locos that Cameron includes in his GCR package. The exception maybe one of his B12s. If possible I will try to clarify this situation early next week. I am very pleased that you enjoy the route. It's great fun trying to simulate the past, although very frustrating at times. I have also learnt a lot about the history of the coal mining industry in the UK and its associated indusrties.

Kindest regards,

Peter.

Peter,

It's OK, I've just done what I should have done in the first place and checked the sessions for missing locos in the Driver consist setups, found the missing ones, checked Cameron's website and placed my order. Simple, with a bit of thought!

Just downloaded GCR V13. Thank you very much for the beautifull map and session.

I'm only missing <kuid:481183:1807> by camscott. Camscott's assets are normally payware. Does anyone knows, which rollingstock it is?

Many thanks in advance for your answers.

Kind regards

Swordfish

Edit:
The missing asset is freeware <kuid:481183:1807> LNER N5 69263
