Wow, that's so awesome to see someone doing this route . I rode on it back in '98, before their current boom. I remember the conductor telling us about all the big plans they had, like raising the speed limit, running two trains, ect. (as he drove us from the campground to the train station...nice guy ).
I actually started work on a trainz version of it quite some time ago. I never got far, but i did accumulate some pictures and other research materials, so if you need any help let me know and i'll send what i have.
Here's "ye old Roon version"
If there is any way i can help in the route just let me know!

I rode the GCR about 3 years ago behind #4960. It was a great ride. Shame it was only 2 hours there (we only rode one way, to satisfy me so I would ***** about it, LOL.).
Any new screenshots? My grandma gave me a suprise yesterday of taking a trip on this railroad later this year and then railfanning the BNSF Seligman Sub the next day! :Y: . -Chris

I've landscaped another mile or so... (Takes FOREVER!)
Check the GCL Logbook for updates, I've usually update the web site daily during the week and have been adding new pictures just about weekly as progress is made.
Ah, looks good! Although if it's not difficult to do; replace all the sections of track with a better type of track like MP Wood that comes with TRS2006 (Used on the Marias Pass route). Thanks for telling me about the Surfliner . -Chris
I read somewhere (a long time ago) that TrainzObjects can be used to do mass-replacements... or maybe changing kuid's in the config file; though I've never tried either.
I agree that there is better looking track available. I like your suggestion about using MP Wood Track. This has been a popular sugguestion from a lot of people.
