From Applebees to our Vets

GONE AND FORGOTTEN
If your active duty or retired military, check with your local Applebee's. I say this as our store will be giving a free signature meal to our vets on veterans day. I have asked, and alot of the stores are doing the same. Some may not, so call first and find out. Some restrictions may apply. For instance. At our store, the vet will need to have either a copy of his DD214, or Veterans ID. and this only covers the meal, not the beverage. So before you go, please call.

Got one Applebees in our little town, don't need to be "active duty or retired military", even a single hitch with an honorable discharge qualifies you. I won't be making it this year, my oldest son is having his pinning ceremony that day - promotion to Command Sergeant Major (rats, popped all the buttons off my shirt again!).

Yeah details vary from location to location. Hence the reason I said to call before going.

Got one Applebee's here in my little town.
Like home away from home.
Will definitely check this out.

Here we have a "Lunch on the Rail" promo...eat at the bar 9 times...get a freebie meal, sans ETOH beverages.

TNX for the info, will check it out here.

sniper:

Cograts to your son.

Was honored to be at Vandenburg AFB in 2009 to see my niece at her promotion ceremony to MSGT (in 10 yrs active !).

Looking forward to June of 2012 to see one of my daughters graduate from The Citadel...she is going Navy Surface Warfare Intelligence....:(

She would rather swim than fly...unlike me:D
