Many are the trainzeurs has to know that the current situation of Auran is not as well as possible of its form, we put the question with all here and all to know if you would agree for the creation of an International forum of help and allowing us possibly to take place of gathering of creations of the authors, this in order to keep a community welded for our master key favorite times and to provide to find all the contents currently available, this is only one proposal in the case of a possible closing of the forum or DLS.
It can be good to have an international point of fall of help for all the trainzeurs, so that all can continue benefitted from all these splendid creations as of superb the screens which one can see on the various sections of the Auran forum.

Nombreux sont les trainzeurs a savoir que la situation actuelle de Auran n’est pas au mieux de sa forme, nous posons ici la question à toutes et tous de savoir si vous seriez d’accord pour la création d’un forum International de secours et nous permettant éventuellement d’avoir un lieu de rassemblement des créations des auteurs, ceci afin de garder une communauté soudée pour notre passe temps favoris et pourvoir retrouver tout les contenus disponible actuellement, ceci n’est qu’une proposition dans le cas d’une éventuelle fermeture du forum ou de la DLS.

Il peut etre bon d’avoir un point de chute international de secours pour tous les trainzeurs, afin que tous puissent continuer a profité de toutes ces magnifiques créations ainsi que des superbes screens que l’on peut voir sur les diverses sections du forum Auran.

This is the purpose of the TrainzProRoutes Download Depot. All content uploaded remains the property of the creator, and the server is huge. Anyone can upload to the Depot, and international categories are being explored now.

At the moment TrainzProRoutes is probably the place to build from. It already has a working forum, has been in existence for some time and has a new download section.

Yes, I suspect this is a case where the first entrant into the market is likely to take precedence. If there is to be an 'alternative DLS', then TPR looks like the way to go.

However, I suspect we're going to see a significant expansion of people hosting their own creations which is likely to mean a lot more messing about to obtain dependencies when we download layouts in the future.

There is a very reasonable chance that the DLS will continue as will the forums. It's a tried and trusted solution and no matter who Trainz ends up with it makes sense to keep them. I think the thing at the moment is to ensure we have a couple of back up plans in case things go wrong. Worse case scenario is we have google to search for Trainz sites. UKTrainz has a functioning forum as does TrainzProRoutes and Patricia_B has a functioning web site and she also has connections into one of the European forums which functions in French.

TPR has been around a while and many of the specialists drop by from time to time even if they aren't there every day.
