forum is down 90% of the time

whats the deal. almost everytime i tried to get on here today I get. the server is taking too long to respond. and also are you mods or admins EVER going to approve my theards the the suggestion boxcar or are you going to keep blowing me off. one thread NEVER got approved and its been over a month. and i now i had another suggestion and it hasn't shown up yet. yet others are showing up. what gives.

Maybe your suggestion is there already or has not gone though ( The same thing has happened to me and the later was found to be the problem) .

There was an announcement on the forum that it would be down for maintenance, I suspect you didn't read it.

I'm sure the Forum is not down 90% of the time, so it must have been a small window of time that you were attempting to log in. There has been an announcement that Auran is presently upgrading the to server to improve the Forum so there may be brief periods where the Forum is off line while this takes place.

Regarding your suggestions, I did a search of your recent suggestions. It seems that they are all requests for specific items of rolling stock that you would like to see made. There are other subForums that are not moderated where your requests would be more appropriately made and hopefully you will get some favorable responses. This sticky thread below gives guidance for the purpose of the suggestion Forum which I have linked below.

The suggestion Forum is for future versions of Trainz as you can see. Anyway try making your requests for rolling stock content in another subForum and see what happens. Good luck

The forum was down for all yesterday evening (UK time), Mr Fox, I assumed the upgrade took longer than anticipated. The forum seems much faster now.

Yes. The forum went down for ONE NIGHT. It isn't the end of the world.

Now, Auran is an Australian company. Their business hours are approximately the same as normal businesses... Lets see. The forum went down at about 9pm AU EST. That puts it after Spiffy should have gone home... Spiffy then arrive into the #Trainz IRC Chat room at about 9am AU EST, and within a few minutes of arriving, had the forum back up... So, in other words, the forum was down whilst Spiffy was home from work... Please, remember that Auran isn't a 24/7 company. If the forum were to go down right now, it probably wouldn't be fixed till tomorrow (AU time), since Spiffy wouldn't be in till tomorrow morning. This is fairly normal...

So please, be patient. The Auranites do have lives outside of work
