Many Thanks Josh

kuid:67906 is snowsignal, but I don't know where he hangs his hat these days. You could try emailing him.

30204:23005
30204:23006

These are all on the DLS.

And all those kuids that start with a -1 are builtin to Trainz. If you don't have them then they must be from a version different from yours. What version are you running and what version is the route for?

Hello Josh, are you using TC3 by any chance ????

Most of those kuid numbers are on the DLS, ensure you have all the boxes ticked when searching, and as mentioned the -1 kuids are all built-in to other versions of Trainz, not in TC3, which was created from scratch. You need to import another version's built-in stuff to enable you to download this type of layout off the DLS, go to the Trainz Classics website for further explanation on how to do it successfully.

Thank You Josh

number 1 dependancies

As stated all assets starting with 1 are built-in to earlier versions of Trainz, probably way-back-when in the original program but certainly in 2004.
This is one of the pitfalls with route creators like myself who use 04 to work in. I do it because it allows my routes to be downloaded by a much wider audience than if I went to a later version.
My efforts not to use any built-in assets are usually thwarted because even the base boards are actually a built-in asset! As are some very nice sheds that I have had to go back and replace in Bristol Temple Meads, one of my current projects.
Indeed it is difficult not to use them but my method is to have the kuid number showing at the bottom of the Surveyor screen so I can at least check as content is placed - if I remember in the excitement.
It can be very frustrating for those who use TC3 and later version however, and I sympathise.

Bless you,

Angela

Hi Angela,

It can be very frustrating for those who use TC3 and later version

I've loaded a couple of your routes into 2009 - there are only a couple of minor errors (textures).

It seems that most of the "-1" built in content has been restroed to 2009 (though it's not the high resolution quality).

Looks like TC3 was something of a stand-alone - for content and some of the programming....

Josh,

You may not be able to move all the "built-in" content to TC 3 - some of it is "locked" for editing...

All the best,

Colin
