Fonts and Colors for Lettering Rolling Stock

In the config.txt files you can vary the font style and color of the lettering. Are there tables available to indicated the coding for font type and the color (xxx, xxx, xxx)? For example fontcolor 255,255,255 is white.

TRS2006CCG, pg 108 says:
font: The name of the font, default Arial. Other fonts are not functional at this time.
fontsize: The size of the sign text.
fontcolor: The colour of the sign text in r.g.b.

So you're stuck with Arial. For colors you can open the MS Paint program, select Edit/Edit Colors/Define Curstom Colors and then use your mouse pointer to move the indicator in the rainbow colored square and the narrow strip to the right to get the color you want, then write down the rgb numbers.

Thanks, Bob

I tried to go through CCG for the answer but couldn't find it. Thanks for the info, Bob. Maybe newer versions of Trainz will allow other fonts. :)

The font can be varied if the text is created in gmax. The gmax text function offers many different fonts. Just make the text very thin in your favorite font and size, UVW map it, add color, and apply to the side of the car just outward of the cars surface. Might take a little trial and error but it should work.
