Florida Train Show Soon!

Hey everybody,

On the weekend of December 8 and 9th, the Sarasota Model Railroad Club will be hosting their second 2007 train show. I hope to see some Florida Trainzers there. Its a great show. It will be at the Manatee Civic Center. For more info, go to smrc.org

If you do come, look for the LEGO trains. That's my layout for the weekend. So come on out.

I'm a member of the Florida train club, GFLTC. We display only at the shows. We are not affiliated with SMRC in any way.

Way back when Auran has "Trainz on the Road" I did a show or 2 and it was fun meeting a few community memebers and seeing the show ....

Take plenty of pictures guys of the place .... :wave:

If a show ever hits this side of Florida let me know!!

No way. Well, it will be good to see you. What I do have to say is that it is not as great as past years. 3 of the common displayers have plans so it is all down to me. I'll send you a PM.

Well, today was a great day at the show. It was good meeting lewshapiro. I do have to say that somebody googled the show and got this thread. I thought that was cool. Anyway, forgot my camera today, but will get pics and upload them to FLICKR.

I thought I would revive this thread with the announcement of another upcoming show. Here the stats.

Date: Weekend of Febuary 16-17, 08
Times: 10-4, 10-3 (Subject to change)
Place: Manatee Civic Center, Palmetto
Show: Sarasota Model Railroad Club Train Show

Once again, I will be displaing LEGO, but with the entire club this time with about a 20x20 layout showing the entire downtown Tampa setup. The layout will include 2-3 loops, working crossing gates, Cool buildings, and lots of trains. So come on out. It will be a blast.
