flickering

Hello all ,

I have some trouble on my PC
I'm running TS12 build 61388 supported by W7

When i open the tabs in Surveyor they are slightly flickering this happens also with the Trainz settings screens
In driver some tracksplines are (on a distance) like this ///////////////
Also in driver sometimes the program is stuttering.

I have a new graphic card the GTX 970
Processor 3.3 GHZ.
Screen resolution 1920X970
W7 64 bits

Any suggetions ?
 
Just a suggestion. If you've just installed a new graphics card, has your Trainz program actually connected to it? It may be defaulted back to the original card.
Also check your game settings "Direct X" or "Open GL" - sometimes a switch may be necessary to work with your new card.

Suggest a complete removal of graphics drivers and then reinstall the latest from Nvidia. GTX970 here and no problems with any version of Trainz.

Thanks for the support .
I've tried the switching between 'open gl and DX' , that didn't work .
But by running trough the gr.card i noticed that the tab "scanning for games" i got the message " sorry , we could'nt find any supported game"
I'm running TS on a seperate disc , a Seagate .
 
I found out that the cart has a tab for making contact to trainz .
I tried many locations to make contact but the cart can't find Trainz.
 
If I am reading you right then your comment " i noticed that the tab "scanning for games" i got the message " sorry , we could'nt find any supported game" and this would suggest that you are looking at shadowplay to be able to record? If that is the case then you will have to run you gforce experience again and tick the box under the monitor (top right of screen). You need to run your trainz in full screen mode. Also on desktop r/click the screen and select resolution and see what the recommended resolution is. At the same time check the htz value you selected for your resolution as well. Try 60htz and go from there.

Standard message as NVIDA does not directly support Trainz, Tane. That message would not be there if it found a game that they have developed a profile to make the game run at maximum display.
