Anyone know where I can find an "engine_black.texture" file?

I would REALLY like to have the steam units made by bdaneal working for me but a good portion of them are dependent on assets that show up in TS2010 as faulty with the following error -

Error: Texture 'engine_black.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'blw_tw_b2.im'.

When I check in the asset file, that texture is not there. I ran Pev's PM2IM utility, thinking that it might strip out the texture and the asset would no longer be faulty but, no dice.

At this point, the only way to fix this, that I know of, is to add the missing texture to the file.

Does anyone know of an asset out there that does contain the item "engine_black.texture"?

Any help find this texture -or- guidance on how to fix "blw_tw_b2", "blw md440 b2", "blw dec b2", "inyo b2". "NP F1 invisible bogey" or "blw con b2", for TS2010 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Duane

I've copied a lot of general texture files during the many edits I've done in the past. Among them is a small, 16 x 16 pixel black.tga graphic I got from a loco shadow folder. In this case I copied into the faulty kuid file and saved it as engine_black.tga to fix it.

Thanks for the reminder of the shadow texture. It was easy to find and seems to work fine. Locos look good using it.

Thanks again!

Now if I can just figure out the few attachment errors some of his assets have.

How / where, exactly, do you place the renamed file? Do I need to edit a config.txt somewhere?

Assuming you have made an engine_black.jpg graphic and a corresponding engine_black.texture.txt file, copy them to the body folder of the kuid.
