I was going to post a link to an audio recording I made at the mouth of Dunloup Creek, across the river from the old railroading town of Thurmond, West Virginia, deep in heart of the New River Gorge, but after reading some of the latest posts regarding T:AiN, I thought I'd turn that recording into a public service message.
Video, below: "Five and a Half Minutes at Thurmond", a calming audio meditation suitable for train lovers of all ages.
(Turn on your computer's sound and plug in your headphones if you've got 'em, as this is a high fidelity binaural recording. Additionally, cascaderailroad suggests you might want to empty your bladder before listening.)
