Finding content files, continued ...

As far as I know, all versions of Windows have the ability to display file content when the mouse pointer is placed over a file. This function is either enabled or disabled, controlled through the File Options folder found in the Control Panel directory.

Custom Contnet files in at least in TRS 2006, found in Trainz "Local" folder, are preceded by the word : content, followed by a string of control characters that only the content manager understands.
You can also track this down by implementing a file search with the keyword: "content" but be ready to have the computer pick up every content word onthe hard drive.

I hope this helps to focus the issue.

Another useful trick . . . when creating content, precede the filename you chose with a key, so that all the files in a category are all bunched together and therefore, easy to find in the Surveyor window.

Such as XYZ_Filename_etc.
