When I first purchased TRAINZ 2009, it was a total disaster, especially the Content Manager, which would not allow me to dowload a single item, even when I purchased a yearly ticket! I got zero response from Auran to help me, dispite many attempts to contact them. I finally uninstalled the whole mess, swearing not to bother with any Auran producd again....ever!
That was last year...
Lately, I reinstalled it on my new computer, with an Intel i7 3.33 gig processor, 12 gigs of ram, and two 1 gig hard-drives, with Windows7.
I still had to go into a compatible mode for it to run at all, albeit a bit cranky, with lots of freeze-ups and failures to start up.
I have finally installed all of the updates for this program, the Content Manager now seems to work fine, and I am off a running....finally!
Now, someone please tell me the advantages of going for the 2010 edition, including what is better about it. Also, will it operate without going to a compabitle mode with Windows7?
I will appreciate any suggestions and replies...
