How can a paint scheme be both snappy and dull?
Unless they have changed the paint scheme it is very attractive, much better than any of the US railroads except KCS.

I agree Nikos. Only real competitor with that scheme is indeed KCS. In the US anyways. I think all the Mexican and South American are great. They really know great color schemes down there that`s for sure.

i hate these engines simply because everything is in english/spanish. i know, not that hard to read but when you are trying to find the word "bell" or "horn" and you see the spanish equivalent, it doesn't register when you are half asleep at 3 oclock in the morning. but i will say the engines are beautiful in my opinion, they are definatly different than anything we have painted here in the states.

I said "snappy" as compared to thier other locos that need a week in the washer. "dull" because there ain't no color, as good as PC black.

I stand corrected in first loco number.

FYI, if I mention Railway Age Mag, an industry periodical, I'm not lyin'. If I don't, what does my sig say?:hehe:
