FCT price going up?

Hi;
While I was exiting Surveyor in T-ANE today, a pop-up box appeared to tell me that the price of a First Class Ticket is going up.
Is this true, and if so, how much is it going up?
I won't need another ticket for 128 days, but would like to get it now if the price is going up.

Yes it is true. It has been announced in the newsletter recently. If you do not receive that, it might be worth looking into that.

New prices are obviously not (yet) communicated as N3V wants to trigger some FCT sales first.

You can buy multiple FCT's and keep them stockpiled, unactivated ... I have 3 unactivated from when they were on sale for $19.99

I'll never forget when N3V had a 75% off sale, I bought @ $180 or more DLC and FCT's

All I managed to get out of them in the post I made was this.
[The 12 mth fee is double the 3 mth - it is a legacy pricing structure that we will be adjusting while still providing good value - less than 10cents per day.

Make out of that what you will, but as it will cost under $0.10 (10 cents) a day, at a very wild guess, I going to say a 1 year ticket is going to cost $34.99 up from $24.99. Good value? That's debatable IMO but a good earner for N3V that's for sure.

I'm just hedging right now. $24.99 isn't a lot of money, but I am trying to purchase some new gear for a long trek. I won't be needing any FCT while out on the trail, so maybe I'm better off just waiting to see whether or not my trekking plans come to fruition. Then again, it would be nice to have the FCT for when I get home.

After reading about N3V's downsizing, and the negative reviews of T-ANE, I am not going to purchase a new FCT. When mine runs out at the end of the summer, I should know whether or not buying another is worthwhile. Until then, it's going to be a download party!

Nothing wrong with T:ANE apart from the fact that your hardware has to be ready for it; most of the complaints are pretty similar to those made when TS2010 came out.

Well I have had the lifetime issue for some time now and quite content with that of course. Treated myself at the time and being a teetotaller swigged a glass of Scotland's other national drink....Irn Bru.

I just don't bother with an FCT, honestly. You CAN get stuff downloaded, it just takes a little while (overnight is good, its been about three months but I now have all davesnow's stuff).
