faulty

funnnyfarm,

In content manager, go to "my content" or "installed" and highlight and right click on the route you want to fix. Either click on view faults and warnings or click on missing dependencies and see what is shown. The red exclamation mark indicates an asset fault, (you can ignore the yellow exclamation marks) and the yellow jigsaw piece with a question mark in it is for missing dependencies. If it's just missing dependencies it will show you which they are. Anything with the DLS symbol next to it will be available on the DLS, but anything with a black question mark means that it is unknown and is possibly available via google searching or payware sites etc. Click on "view in main window" and anything with the DLS symbol you merely drag into to search window and it will instal it for you (providing you have the necessary version to support it).
Other items require a bit of effort but in the main I've found that with persistence you can find most things.

Hope I've been some help.
Dan.

Just to add,

When repairing faults it makes things easier when you have others experience and help to go on. Go to Shane Turners page and check out his tutorials.
You'll find a whole wealth of great information there.

Dan.

PS. I believe you already posted the same question in an earlier thread.

Ok I have asked this before, I probable didn't ask it right. I want to use NWS Yard. In content manager it shows up as a reg "!" (error). And when I open NWS Yard in Surveyors the red error is Auran Track TS2009 Oak. And in the route it shows up as double dash lines. I try to replace it but I can't replace it. How do I get some tack to show up? Thanks funnnyfarm

That track should be a built-in asset. Try reverting it to original.

Shane

P.S. If you've got TS12 SP1, you must unlock the route layer before replacing assets that are on that layer.

This is the errors I get Warning: Required tag 'category-class' was missing and has been set to default.Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'track_normal_diffuse_different copy-track_normal_diffuse_different copy.texture'.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'track_normal_normal.texture'.
