Faulty JR content

Hi all.

All of my JR stuff went faulty at some point over the last three weeks and I can't fix them. I tried an EDR and committing the assets and neither worked. Any suggestions?

EDIT: The Error is "Error: Unable to link compiled script class."

My stuff says things are faulty sometimes and all i do is right click on the item and click on see errors or whatever the buttons says and everythings fine after that. I don't know why stuff does it. Its always been JR content to.

Tried that. Didn't work. The "Unable to link compiled script class" wont go away.

Delete the contents of your userdata/cache/libraries folder wherever your game installation resides at. This will rebuild the libraries and hopefully force this to work again in your case.

Also Chrome wont do what? download the latest script library? If you deleted the one currently installed try downloading not in Chrome from this link http://jointedrail.com/index.php/dependencies/train-fx-library/train-fx-library.html . Works just fine here. THEN do the above deletion.. Obviously if you dont have the scripts installed first your going to get errors, but if they are installed you shouldnt be getting them

Just did no dice. Anything else?

EDIT: Ok so apparently it didnt download at all, Chrome just wont do it.....any ideas?

Try downloading from a different browser. Firefox is probably the best suited for JR. I use it all the time cuz Internet Exploder sucks

I just tried Mike's idea and I do not think it worked..all content still shows as faulty due to not being able to link the compiled script class. It doesn't look good...

after you do that try re-validating them. quickest way would be to get all the faulty ones in a list and view errors warnings. you could also try to open for edit and re-commit them.

@NS37:

Sorry, it still wouldnt work after trying on three different locomotives. Im running a QDR now to see if that forces the rebuilding of the libraries.

well the only thing that will rebuild the libraries is if you delete the contents of that folder.

make sure trainz and cmp are shut down, and wait at least a few minutes for background processes to close

delete the contents of userdata/cache/libraries.

click the icon to open the trainz launcher as usual - it will take a few more seconds as it rebuilds. then check the assets in cmp.

That did the trick! Some things need work but the others are going through!

Thank you all who have attempted to help. It means a lot to me that the gang here is here to help.
