Faster Brake release?

Hi there, one thing that really frustrates me is the unrealistic hiss of the train braking system on my locos, it just seems to go on forever, whereas on a real loco they seem to Hiss then release.
I'm talking about a loco running light and also with a consist or rake of wagons.
How can I edit the files in CMP to shorten the train brake release time?

Also Is there any way of getting some compressor sounds onboard whilst driving?

Try the D key Hit it once to dump the air and hit again to stop it

You could probably make adjustments in the engine-files pressure section. Haven't tried this myself yet. Be sure to do your homework in the Content Creation Guide p.25 and onwards on what the pressures stands for. Don't mess up the original engine-file, make a clone in CMP and fibble with that one. If it'll be prototypical or not, gona be a matter of debate. Generally I think most engine-files already are close to RL, but it's your feel on it, so it's your call.
