Extra trains appear in session

During a session recently I noticed 2 very strange things occur.

1: The driver name of one of my AI trains changed.

2: 4 extra trains appeared (same consist and they all had the same driver name, which also happened to be the same name that one of my other trains had changed to).

Has anyone ever seen this happen?

I was not using portals.

Frame rate seemed ok, no jerky motion.

ive never seen this happen before. could this be a problem related to your edition of the game (i mean the disk you got)

2010 SP3, but I've had SP3 since it came out and the problem just appeared yesterday.

Update

I had an idea, change the name of the driver whose train is being replicated.

In Surveyer, when I clicked on the drivers name, the change driver name prompt would not come up. It worked fine with any other driver.

So I clicked on the icon for the driver and changed it that way. Now I can change the drivers name once again like it's supposed to work.

Maybe the session somehow became corrupted, some testing will be required to tell for sure.

it sounds like the driver might be corrupt. what driver were you using?

I don't remember who the original driver was.
