Extending Layout

When I now add extra panels to extent my layout it appears with grass all over it instead of the usual yellow grid. Can anyone tell me what has happened and how I can turn off the grass effect when adding extra section to the layout?

Hi Tom,

This is a new "feature" by N3V.

The fix is to replace the region with another that has the grid instead of the grass. These are available on the DLS by pware and others.

In the latest TRS22 you can go to the display menu at the top of your route and select ground and then grid.

In TRS22 and Trainz Plus the region named Grid Region is now a builtin asset. It appears to be a simple region with no traffic vehicles and the default switch lever. I assume this is what the Command stagecoach mentioned uses when you choose grid.
