Excellent fun from stationmistress

twarner

Around since 2001
'stationmistress', a name I haven't seen before but producing excellent model railway type layouts with plenty of well scripted action.

'Woodlands' and 'The steelworks' seen so far.

Thanks for your efforts and especially for the links to content giving quick and accurate downloading.

Keep it up!

Gotta wash your minds out with soap

"Mistress" is the feminine form of "master", both can have either positive or negative connotations depending on usage. A "stationmistress", therefore, would be a female stationmaster, nothing dirty about it unless you're really really juvenile. Sexism in spelling;

Firefox spellchecker recognizes the word "stationmaster" as correctly spelled, but despite over 20 years of women's liberation before spellcheckers were invented it doesn't recognize the feminine form of the job title. Didn't the original "Shining Time Station" children's show that introduced Thomas the Tank Engine have a stationmistress?

For goodness sake 'sniper' (perhaps from your username we should assume that you're a psychotic killer)

I was only trying to bring to people's attention a scource of fun layouts and sessions and didn't expect to be psychoanalysed. :(

And they say Brits don,t have a sense of humour! Trainz is Fun. And mistresses can be even more fun (until the wife finds out)

Gotta throw in a :hehe: or something when you're joking. Hopefully the lady has a sense of humor, or humour if she's British. ;) That was a joke, BTW.

@ stationmistress,

Thank you for the excellent track "The Steel Works Route" and the one treading new paths with the specification of the used objects with a download path. excellent :):)

Ah, at least folk are starting to notice the routes now and appreciate the download links.

It's great to have links to all the 'unknown' content that appears in 'dependencies' rather than having to scrabble around trying to get some kind soul to help in finding them.

I did see these on the DLS, but thought I'd leave alone as the author was unknown. I'll give them a go now that you have recommended them.
Cheers for the input on these.

Woodlands and The Steelworks

:D Guess what? I do have a sense of humour. The years of 1942-1946 are the time when stationmistresses were greatly appreciated to keep the railways running. History lesson over. Thanks for the kind words and appreciation for what I have done. I have another route on the go at the moment. From where I live, I can see what used to be a GWR works, now a museum and Motive Power Depot next door to each other. Artistic licence is being used very much in this layout, but eventually it will be finished and put on the DLS.

Are your routes UK based? If so I'll add them into the UK layout thread.

Thanks John
