Oh wow, I was actually think 1939 or so given on the cars. I know cars in the late 1940s and early 1950s were becoming bigger in size. Perhaps those are older cars on the road.That particular photo was taken in 1949
Could be. No new cars during WWII, so the late 30s cars may have been on the roads for quite a while.Perhaps those are older cars on the road.
