Returned From Bone Pile....

I would like to bring this thread back from the bone pile.

There are some very nice screenies in it.

The Springfield Engine Service Area, near the airport. Shot taken from the highway overpass that crosses the yard.

A different view showing downtown in the background, taken from the upper walkway of an adjacent hotel.

Hey I have that route, I run NS, CSX, and Conrail on it.

What route is it?

P.S. Nice shots all!

Thanks.
Regional Passenger Transit 2005 (RPT), a TPR route originally created for inclusion in the 2004 Passenger Pack, but not included because we made a winter route, and Auran made summer passengers. Which one would have been easier to change?

Anyhow, it's on the DLS now, along with all the dependancies, and four sessions (that may or may not work properly now).

It has a commuter line operating between two largish cities, and a freight line that shares the commuter line for a distance. It can be pretty challenging running the freights through the commuters.

Hey Euphod: any chance of doing the sessions with Metra and better freight rollingstock? The sessions are good, but I'd like to see it with yours and Cloakedghost's Metra stuff, plus the freight stuff like CN and stuff by CNR or SPORBUST. -Chris

Actually, I've been working on getting the route ready for re-release, with some changes and additions. I have already converted the passenger stock to Metra, and am using different stock for the freights too. The problem is making it easy for people to use....do I make it in 2004, or 2006, or 2006 SP1? Then what stock and content works without error?. It's tough to make a user friendly route nowdays unless you just dont' care about the details.

Thanks for expressing interest though, it's nice to know somebody uses it!
Ed;)
