Emit Loaded Trains from portals

Hi all is there any way of emiting a loaded train from a portal. I know if you send an empty train into a portal you can convert it to loaded and vice versa.

There is a command on the DLS called InstantLoad, and it's counterpart, InstantUnload. These do what they say on the tin.

BEWARE: They load ALL queues on the train, so if you have, for instance, double-stack well cars with the opportunity to load different types of containers, it will load all of them, so the containers may look a little strange as the graphics card tries to decide which one should be on top. Males the train heavier, too.

Thanks for that :)

Using Portals...

 Hello Louise_T,

In Surveyor, right click on the portal(s) in question, you should see a dialogue box...

Produce New Trains means you select any content you wish with the ability to turn the equipment in the desired direction.

Consumes Trains means...it consumes all trains, as checked...I don't know what "specific types" means...

Train Returns after_____minutes. You set the time. The default is five minutes. The AI Driver pic appears on the taskbar & the train will not move until you issue a driver command.

Empty trains are loaded, other trains are empty...this is where the driver commands "Instant Load/Instant Unload"
come in handy...

Happy Trainzing!

Backyard thank you for your response but if you read my post again I did say I knew about having trains go empty into 1 portal you can send it exit loaded via another portal. Captain Collins gave me the answer I needed but thahnks again for reading and responding.

Actually they will load the default load - that is the first load in the queue. The reason your well cars look odd is that the default load is the old Auran 20' container which is oversize. The attachment points assume a correct size container, so the old 20 footers are overlapped which causes strobing.

There are at least two modified versions of the well cars available that load other containers by default.

AFAIK there is no way to put more than one load on any attachment point.
