Electro-Motive Tier-III Compliant SD70ACe on display...

Web Page for The New One...

 SD70ACe Performance Page

As of this date no external differences have been added. Notice that the page does not yet reflect EPA Tier-III Certifications...:hehe:

Thanks to Jointed Rail for displaying a render of The New One for Trainz, "I Can't Wait..."

...this one smells differently....

 A million-dollar investment in Tier Three Technology...and you save fuel to boot!

I like the way Progress Rail continued the legacy of EMD in a public-presentation probably including souvenirs...notice the balloons...

The competition of engine suppliers to achieve the much dreaded emissions requirements, means the early-bird get's the worms...

And I see no difference in this presentation under Caterpillar or changes made due to politics on this locomotive different from EMD...with possible exception of public access...:o

Isnt that a set of steps in front of the units leading to both of them? Liking the paint scheme, but I hope they are better than the older SD70ACe units. All the engineers I know that have run the new NS SD70ACes say they are no good.

Lawyers and insurance companies run the nation...

 ...I said possible...however I think they just roped off the locomotive due to rain...:hehe:

Check out the cool banner displayed in front of the locomotive...I'd put that on my bedroom wall...;)

At TVRM, at least the equipment they have on their grounds prevents them from allowing hosted railroads equipment for boarding, due to the many issues encountered running a Historic Excursion Train daily.

EMD used volunteer employees to monitor locomotives on display for out of control rug-rats...no climbing on the locomotive, but you were free to use the FRA-Approved boarding steps and handrails.
