Early 20th Century Passenger Coaches...

Sampug394

I'm back. >:]
Does Anybody Know of ANY Decent 1890s-1930s Era SG Passenger Coaches that Meet the Following in any way? :o

- Small to Medium Sized
- Does NOT Have Link & Pin Couplers, but Knuckles
- NOT a P70 Type Coach
- Not Payware

If ANYBODY can Find Coaches of this Sort, Provide Links!
If Anybody wants to Make any Coaches like these, (I'm Not Really Recommending it,) Go Ahead.

Just want to Know If there's Good Rolling Stock that Meets these Requirements. I'm Working on a 1920-1950s Steam Era Route that Could Really Use Some Good coaches like these... ;)

search these

Check the DLS for the phrase TOTC and HARRIMAN. The coaches are by Ben Dorsey. You might also check out his other stuff under the username bendorsey. Great stuff.

Leave it to Ben Dorsey... 60 versions of each, just like the bridges. That guy doesn't mess around! Good looking stuff, gonna check some out.

I'll Say!

There's no Joking about it. Putting on all of the Red Coaches, AS WELL as his 1919 Railguns that my Dad LOVES. :hehe:

His Bridges are Unmatched too... ;)

Oh Yeah, DYK, He has SIXTY FOUR Versions of a Railbus? :p

Didn't know about the rail bus, I just know his name from using his content, which means I have scrolled through tons of it. I haven't seen half of it probably. I know he has a bridge for every situation in every location. By the way, Thanks Ben!!

Hey Sampug, I don't know if you would like them or not, but I configured some TOFC coaches to use Elvenor's western passengers, and Pencil24 has some old stations. I have used them and if you aren't looking for old west type stuff, they still look good in other settings, as long as it' not too modern or urban.

He Does have a Bridge "For Every Gap and Depression"... :p

And Yes. He Has Many Railbeese. :hehe:

Though, with his Bridges, I prefer Splines. Bridge "Buildings" Don't always work for me... :o

Really! Although I'm not Working on an 1800s Route, (I had one in the Past that was Lost Forever...) That sounds Really Nifty... Will Look into it! ;)

I know what you mean. I just haven't found any early 1900's passengers. I was going to try to re-configure the passengers and eliminate the big cowboy hat guys and try to find some other people to put in there. There are a few with derby hats and such that will work. I don't like making old timey routes and having modern day passengers. I'll let you know if I have any luck, and please let me know if there are 40's or 50's type passengers. I just reinstalled and dumped everything. I know I'm going to build another early 1900's route, a transition era, and a 70's to modern. I'm too scatterbrained for just one. Right now I'm just researching and searching for content and trying not to fill my computer with stuff I'll never use.

:o:o:o That was a Wall of Text, But Yes! I'll Search the DLS for old Passengers, since I'm Downloading things right now...

Sorry, Haven't Seen a Single Thing of 1950s Passengers. Hardly anything for Passengers for that Matter... :(

...And I know EXACTLY How you feel about being Scatterbrained. I couldn't Focus on a Single Route, that is, until I started my "Curtis Branch"... ;)

Particularly the Reason my Tagline is "Route Building Nutcase": I've got a Snowy 760mm Line in the Works, the Curtis Branch, My 30NG Golde Coast Railway, a 2NG Diorama, and a few others, I beleive... I happen to be Focusing the Most on the Curtis Branch though... :p

Ive been searching DLS, I found a lot of "people candidates" for pasengers. I just have to weed them out. I think I need sitting and standing, for onboard and on platform. You have a lot on your plate. I think my transition and modern might be the same route, just some changes. Not sure yet.

Wait - I Must've been Finding Loads. I was Searching "Passengers" without any other Categories/etc.

Huh! :o

I searched products too. I'm going to get out of here and see if I can make a passenger set or not. There are a few that would look good from the 20's to 50's, I just don't know how much luck I'll have. I want to try to reskin some too. I have never edited people yet, but it is another thing I have been wanting to play around with.
