The journey starts at the top of Pike's Peak (elevation 14,115 ft/4.3 km) to the bottom. The colors are absolutely amazing with the contrast between the red soil and rocks against the pines, aspen, and spruce.

Wow, that is a honeymoon to remember!This thread triggered a memory in me.
On my honeymoon trip to the USA back in 1998 we got the fun experience of getting stuck on the cog railway on the way up to the top, at Windy Point, it all stopped, completely, a very long time...
Reason -> They ran out of fuel...
Due to have taken out a car before start, and forgot to refill the other cars with more fuel to compensate...
Made it it a memorable trip for sure!
