DRIVERS ALL GONE!!!!

After installing the patch on Trainz 2006 I noticed that there are no longer any drivers on either the bottom or or when I try to edit the session. In driver setup there are no names of drivers like before, this has screwed everything up!! I think it has something to do whith the patch I installed!? Anyne have any ideas as to how to remedy this situation? I have installed new routes from the download station and I wouldn't want to loose all that's on it now, since a re install would require deleting these files too.

Any one can help? please!!

This problem tends to occur when you install the patch incorrectly. Before installing, did you uninstall Trainz completely, then reinstall? Regardless of if it's a brand new install or a reinstall, you should not open the program until after the patch has been installed.

I think you'll need to back up the local folder and start again. Another tip is to run the exe for the patch from the hard disk, rather than removable media such as a CD.

Instructions for preserving content on a re-installation:
Before uninstalling, make a copy of the folder marked "local" in your Trainz directory elsewhere on your machine. When you have reinstalled TRS (and installed the SP) open CMP and select "import content" from the file menu, then select your back-up folder. This may take some time, but be patient.
