Driver Commands Definitions????

Hi all,
When I open "Edit Session" and click on "Driver Commands", I get the list of all the commands. OK fine. However, underneath each one it says: "no description available".
Is there a list or guide somewhere that can tell me the definition, what it does, and how to use it?
eg. 'Move turntable', 'Navigate to' as opposed to 'Drive to',...etc...I found a link earlier about Sessions and Rules which said very little and the TRS manuals don't seem to go into any detail about them at all.

I do not claim to have knowledge of exactly how the TS2009/2010 Driver commands, etc. work, but I believe that "Navigate to" means to use the selected destination of the "Navigate to" command as a checkpoint and to just drive through it, as opposed to stopping at it and then starting back up again. Move Turntable may be a command to rotate a turntable (otherwise, how would you "move" a turntable? :p :hehe:).

And, of course, you can always learn by trying it out yourself. ;)

Regards.

Navigate to is the same as Drive to, but uses a better route-finding algorithm (IIRC). I guess the creators of most of the rules without description thought they didn't need any explanation...

Regarding the Move Turntable rule, it should come with a readme.txt file or a PDF file. Also, look in the config.txt for a link to a webpage.

I think it one of the three above, but I don't know which one.

Actually this is a description of the "Navigate Via" command. It us used to make AI take a specific path (i.e. stay on the mainline rather than cutting through the yard) to a destination.

Chuck Brite has an excellent tutorial on the use of the Move Turntable Command at http://www.trains.0catch.com/Installing a Turntable and Operating it Under AI Control.pdf.

If you use CM3 to open the Move Turntable kuid for Edit in Explorer and double click the config.txt file, the description section has instructions on its use.

Thank you Bob,
That's the answer I was looking for. I assume that is true for all driver commands.

Would that it were, but not all driver commands have an explaination. Some you just have to try and see what happens.
