Downloading TR12

I have to download TR12 again. Do I have to download the original or is there a way that I can get the current version with all the upgrades already installed. I assume that my original download site would be 49922. I tried to upgrade but the install stopped halfway thru and now I get the error that trying to open trainz and it can find the entrance. By the way I an running McAfee and I can't find out how to turn the damn thing off as recommended.

Well, as you've already alluded to, you need to turn off your firewall and anti-virus whilst you do it. I understand that if you download a digital copy of TS12 now from one of the official sources, ie Simulator Central/Auran, it comes with SP1 and should be fully up to date.

Afraid I can't help you with turning off McAfee (though in my past experience it is horrendously un-user-friendly), except to say try googling 'how do I turn off my antivirus' or 'how do I turn off mcafee' or something similar.

I'm restarting the download that I got as the original. What I want to know is it still the same or would it be the current version and if it is the new one what happens with the serial no.

If you bought it from Simulator Central, it may be either 49922 (pre-SP1) or 58414 (SP1) you get. A warning though. If you get the 49922 version and repatch up to SP1, and it appears to stop in the middle, do not cancel the process.
