Download Station "webpage unavailable"

I am new to TrainZ and I purchased 2010 Engineer's Edition online 2 days ago.

I want to download additional layouts and locomotives, and I add them to my cart, but when I go to download all, I get "webpage unavailable". Everytime. It's like the site is dead.

Are there alternative sites for downloading? I'm already getting an uneasy feeling for auran.com

Also, there's hardly any locomotives to download fo 2010? (Not that I can currently download a single one anyway!) :(

Any help is appreciated!

Hi Kyle,

Welcome to the world of Trainz, your normal life may now change for ever :hehe:

Even though there may not be many Loco's for 2010 does not mean you can not download any made for previous versions. Previous version ones though may be faulty or have warnings. Many of these errors can be fixed and there are a number of threads on the forum to help out. If you have any trouble you only need to start a thread asking for help and someone will be there to try and help out.

While I am not promoting anything for Auran, you may not know about a First Class Ticket. These are reasonably cheap and allow better access and more downloads (then 100MB per day limit) plus at a faster speed depending on your internet connection. Again there are some threads about this.

Regards,

Craig

Kyle, make sure you are running Trainz as administrator if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7. (To do this:

1.Right-click the Trainz shortcut on the desktop.
2.Click Properties.
3.Click Compatibility.
4.Click in the box marked 'run this program as an administrator' (to place a tick) then click OK).

The first time you run Content Manager , it should register IE for the download helper link. If you are using Firefox, you may need to manually add the trainz: address to point to Content Manager (someone else will be able to advise on this)
