unknown content error
Same here...
"unknown content error" is the error message I get when trying to Download anything from the Auran DLS. I am using TS09. CM2 opens, does it's search,finds the item, then says "idle". When pressing "start" it may or may not show some dependencies, then acts like it is checking each one of them. As it goes down the list, each one will show a red bar across the item and / or dependencies. This is with ANY item on the DLS. If I hover the pointer over the item it then displays "unknown content error"
I know that TS 09 does more error checking than previous versions, but... every item on the DLS can't be broken ?

I have downloaded to this machine this year....
username & password re-entered...
My OS is XP, the same one I have been using for years... all updated.
If I try to DL using the FTP page, I get the message that the page cannot be displayed.

CM2 is a bunch of crap for me. All I can get out of it is "user name and password are wrong" I tried going to the download page here and using the FTP but when I log onto the FTP, I can't find the files with the name given on the download page. (FileZilla) Looks like I am stuck with what came with the program.
For Skidmark22 all i can say is maybe try redownloading the game, or go to auran for help. for the more info, i have ts09, and i go into content manager and try to download anything,but it always comes up pink and says unkown content error (except a few kuids...)

I did not download the game, I have the CD. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing with no success. I have no trouble getting to the download page or anywhere else here at Planet Auran. I have no trouble logging in to the profile page or editing my profile. When I try to open the CM2, it says
"incorrect username and password entered. Please re-enter your Planet Auran username and password to access the Trainz Download Station."
I have been trying everything I can think of plus suggestions from here on this forum with no success.

Thanks Gary. I believe they must have gotten the message. I just tried it one last time before going to bed and guess what. It suddenly started working.
2009 working

Picked up world builder 2009 last wednesday at EB Games the reason waited so long have broad band in black spot 30 kbs sec download speed so it would have taken me weeks to download.
Purchased TC 3 couple weeks before working great with out the patch now I have UTC, 2004, 2006, TC 3 and 2009 all working on the same machine.
only one that gave me any problems was 2009 not being able to contact DLS.
the problem was my fire wall not permiting access as soon as I gave 2009 permission it worked Tried to patch 2009 With new patch as soon as I try to activate it resets computer???.
