Download Speeds

Activated it? Can take up to 48 hours to kick in. Check it is showing an expiry date in Launcher > options > Internet, if it isn't it's not activated.
If it is then delete existing downloads from the download helper and reboot. Existing downloads are queued on the slow server until cleared.
May need to allow the new connection in your firewall.
 
Its activated and am downloading at 7.63kbs while another DL site is running at 670mbps. Geeze I have 6 gig cued up. Im not sure whats there an if I can reload it all. this suks.
Is there a way to save whats in my DL list and re-load it?

Actually there is.
Highlight any item in the Download helper list, Right Click > select all > Right Click > view in main list.
That lists everything in the download helper in the Main CM Window.
Click the save button and call it download list or similar, clear the Download helper, close CM and reboot.
Start CM again click on the Download list Tab or whatever you called it, if it's not already loaded, then right click > select all and either drag to Download Helper or right click > Download.

Edit: Just to add, I think everyone gets caught out with this on their first FCT.

I cant find a save button after highlighting all the items in the main list. Copying to clipboard just gives me a text list, which im sure wont import.
 
The Save option is under the Search panel from memory - clicking this and giving it a name will create a new tab with just those assets.

Everything worked great. Thanks again. Now how do I remove the 'Download' tab I created? Each time I start CM it loads the assets there into Download helper.
I looked and cant see where I can delete it.

Ah, that's another well hidden secret, mouse cursor on the tab itself, right click, click remove.

Bit more info, if you right click on the title bar below the tabs there are a few more options you can display in the main Window such as build version, Era Region etc.
