Download problems

Hi I am new to the forum and wonder if anybody can help me with a download problem. I downloaded 46035s class 47s 47798 royal train livery, 47712 drs livery, and 47727 colas livery. They did not show up in railyard, only the numbers and liveries, the engines themselves would not show up.

I went to train objects to see if there were any missing parts, but they were all there. Can anyone help me to get the engines up in railyard . I would be very gratful for any help I can get.

The kuids you are referencing are reskins only. You will need to obtain the original mesh. Open the config.txt file and look for the alias line. This will give you the kuid of the item you need. Then look for the item on the DLS. If you do not find it on the dls, enter it in google and see if it is displayed there. If not, post the kuid here and perhaps some one will be able to direct you to where it can be downloaded.

There is no "alias" line, did you also dl the bogie 215487:4700 ?
You will need that for them to work.
I downloaded them using "Download Helper" & they work a treat.

download problems

Tried downloading kuid 215487:4700 retextured class 47 bogey in download helper, came up as Idle nothing to download. Don't know what to do next guess I will have to dowithout the class 47 engines. Thanks for all the help

They may have all the dependencies downloaded, but are any of them faulty? Use the faulty filter in the lower left area to see what may need to be repaired.

Help from forum members

I have just joined Trainz forum and I was hoping to get help if I needed it from fellow members, but on my first try it looks like I have failed. It looks like some members just don't want to know. Example, I sent an email and private message to 46035, asking if he could help me with a problem I had downloading his class 47 reskins that have just come on download station, but he could not be bothered to reply to my messages,why I don't know.
I have had some help off some members of the forum and for that I am very .
grateful.

I respect all forum members as they do a great job, all I want back is the same respect I give them, is that to mutch to ask.

It is best to be patient when waiting for a reply to Pm's or e=mails. The person you have sent the message to may be ill, on holiday or god forbid they may be having computer problems. Or they may already be working on solving the problem. I have sometimes waited 2 -3 days before receiving any advice has from members, but it has always been worth the wait when a solution is found. You will find that patience is known on the forums to gain respect and quite a few Friends. In time you will find your self giving advice and help.


EDIT:...Do you have Paint Shed installed. Sometimes loco's dont show up unless it is installed. You can get it for free to download here...Click Download Station at the top of this thread/Game Info/Downloads and scroll down you cant miss it.

Hi Mallard! Sometimes members (like myself) don't care to PM or E Mail, sometimes they just like to respond to questions here. Others welcome PM's and E Mails, so it's quite hard to tell who is going to respond to what! Welcome to the forums though, and keep posting, there are plenty of members that like to help!
