download problem ATT. Teddytoot author.

I have windows 7 64 bit. I am unable to download 'Pseudo_RDC_cab' using CMP
for ts2009. The error said it could not find a URL and can not be found on the DLS even though it shows up on the DLS list. Any one know how to fix this?

If you are using TS2009 or later, right-click it and choose 'View Asset Versions'. The one you will need is the one with the highest version number (the last part of the KUID) - see if dragging it across to the Download Helper panel makes any difference.

Be aware though, that the latest version of his asset appears to require TS2009 or higher.

If you are using the free DLS rather than an FCT then you will know from all the threads posted recently that nobody can access it due to "the server being full". I did check the download when it was posted. Incidentally I do not have Win7 64 installed but I assume it works there OK.

I don't get that message I get 'couldn't get a download URL. Item cannot be found on the DLS. rrbobby

Thanks again but it doesn't drag. I assume you mean to drag from 'view asset versions' window to the download helper panel. It just does not drag. rrbobby.

You can't drag from View Assets Versions. After selecting View Assets Version for the list then press View in main window. You can drag and drop from there.

rweber95 is correct, you need to click View in Main List, then drag from the main list.

Still won't download.

Same error message; 'unable to download. Couldn't obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on the download station'. Something must have happened
to 'Pseudo_RDC_cab <kuid:37096:1240>'. Maybe Teddytoot could look into this.
I have never had problems with the download station and I only know how I have always downloaded content. Thank's for the help everyone, It is much appreciated. rrbobby

Just checked my Content Manager - that version is obsolete.

The latest version is:

Pseudo_RDC_cab,<kuid2:37096:1088:2>

Came up OK for me. I put a check in all the version boxes although it is listed as a 2009 asset. Try 37096:1088:2 in the search box (don't forget to tick the KUID box)

Enter my name in the DLS search window, click on username and you will find it as the second item. No problem!

Are you using a First Class Ticket? If not then you are in the same situation as all the other free users in that the DLS is overloaded and you cannot get in. if you SEARCH the forum you will find countless threads on this problem. I cannot help you further as I checked the download when it appeared and it worked OK.

no luck

Under 37096:1088:2 I get no items to display. As for Teddytoot name I get the same 2 pseudo_RDC_cab as before. The second item under Teddytoot is an Alco
loco not an RDC interior. I don't get an overload message although my FCT has
expired. Even if were overloaded or ignoring me I should still see 37096:1088:2.
but I don't. What now? Thanks again. rrbobby.

It is on there, but you need to make sure that TS2009 is ticked on the Trainz Versions box. (You may also have to tick TS2009 SP4/TS2010 as well)

I found it.

I went directly to the download station on line. I put in 37096:1088:2 and
selected download and it poped up on Trainz download helper. I pressed start and I got the server full message. I may have to buy an FCT. Where is the Trainz ts2009 box? If I put the kuid in the DL helper it can't find it. I can only
find it diredtly on the download station. This is too strange. Thanks again guys.
