Download Managers

I would like to purchase the London Underground simulator but this file is 1.46GB and my broadband connection is quite slow due to the distance from the exchange. I therefore think that I need to use a download manager as this file will probhably take quite a few hours to download.
Does anybody have any recommendations.

Thanks

Ken

For years I have used DAP by Speedbit.
Some sites like will however not download items and you will have to turn off the accelleration.
There are others I tried but this is my personal choice and it works perfectly with Trainz.

I just purchased this from the Auran shop, I use FireFox which has a built in download manager. It took two and a half hours to complete even with my fast connection speed. The problem is with the other end where they don't have a high upload speed.
P.s. Don't forget when your driving that one, you have to open the doors yourself, unlike Trainz where they are automatic. Sat there a few times before I thought DOH, thats why nobody is getting on or off. :hehe:

Fiorefox while having a reasonable download manager does not fully support resume if you loose the connection, it does if you pause it yourself though. I wouldn't rely on it on a poor connection.

I'd go with free download manager or DAP both work well.
