I've downloaded about 80 items since teatime, so it's working ok for me.

It's been slow for me the last couple days. CMP drops the connection to the DLS every now and then.
Took me several attempts to load the webpage and then download Xen's new basemap boards earlier today, so yes, it's pretty poor at the moment.
Everything else I've downloaded today flew down the line at my top broadband speed, so it's not the Internet in general.
Par for the course.

No, you're not the only one - it's broken. Very slow and grinds to a halt soon after my accessing it.
I presume that Auran know this and are trying to fix it.

The admin has been working on fixing the issues throughout today, however we are still experiencing some outages at this time.
If you wish to see the status of the DLS at various times throughout the day, then please see the FTP log at the following link: http://www.auran.com/planetauran/FTP_Status_Log.php
I'll try to catch the admin again tomorrow, and see how we are going with this for you.

I am having problems with download station also, comes on very slowly and is broken up, with bits missing, cannot download anything.

G'Day all, yes I'm having problems but not the downloading which is fine with great speeds, it is the search function which is causing grief, this is occurring in CM 2006, 2009 & 2010 also the DLS is patchy when accessed only sometimes working. I have a FCT and prior to Thursday I had no problems at all, this issue still exists as I type.

I've just tried it and it is slow for me too, I assume the server is taking a pounding, I have a full lifetime first class ticket, and for those who wish to continue to download all items after the change-over in September, I would definitly recommend getting one, It's never let me down, and I can't blame it for the slow speed of the DLS throughout today, unfortunatly, something must be wrong at Aurans end, it's good to see Zec and the gang are on to it, and it should be back to normal in a couple of days.
