Diver Command T 2009

Hi
When I edit the driver command in suveyor and tick the :Locomotive Start or Sut Down Command: It does not show up on Drivers commands when in drive mode. I do save it ok and all other commands show but not this one. has anybody had the same problem. Is there a keyboard key which you can use to shut down or start a Loco. Cn anybody help me on this one.

The only locos that have shut-down and startup capability are:
L SD70 Conrail Quality NS PRR,<kuid2:86105:5492:1>
L SD70 Illinois Central Gulf AirC,<kuid2:86105:5494:1>
L SD70 Norfolk Southern PRR,<kuid2:86105:5498:1>

Which is sad... I really hate it when I have 7+ locomotives in a yard that are inactive but still making all that noise.

Actually, that's fairly prototypical for 1950 thru 1970 and maybe even later. A diesel parked overnight at any place other that a yard with a diesel shop was left to idle overnight.

It may be... but none the less, it is annoying from a sound point of view when playing the game.

Also, I know that the local in Muskegon, MI does not leave its units idle in the yard when not in use. Though, I guess they also do not run every day. So that might be why.
