Disobedient bus driver

Let
me tell you a story, it's abou these for bus drivers who drive their buses
into the bus station stop at the various bus stops,pick up passengers
wait for the allotted timeand then depart for their destinations,ALL
that is except for one obstinate driver(lets call him Skip) who refuses absolutely to follow instructions, he does'nt do any of these things,
just drives into the bus station and out again on his merry way,
AND IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS !!!!
Ive tried every trick I know, Ive made him wait at the start poition for several minutes, ive ordered him to stop at a previous stop first
I've even put in a track mark,> I must admit he does stop at that<
but still does'nt stop at the bus stop etc.
the only way I have had any sucsess, is to use the command "stop
train" then physically back him up a bit then use the "continue schedule"
command.
I'm running TRS 2004,and using AJS's excellent DAIMLER Double decker
buses.

Not very clear what is happening, but you should ( if not done already), reduce the action radius of the trackmark. Set it to one meter or less. As it comes in the game is set to 20 mts!

What is different about that one track? Is the station configured differently? Does the AI driver have different commands from the rest? Is the trackmark in a different place? Are there any signals or switches nearby?

Any information on how that one route is different may be the key to solving this.

just to set the record straight, I have MCkinnells bus station
(Kuid 96917:25002, I'm alsousing Cyberstorms UK bus stops,so no
track marks, on the centre stand I have two stps No's 1 & 2. buses can
only turn left on this track, there are also two stops on the firs stand,
these buses turn right,all the drvers instructios are set up the same,the only difference being in the waiting times,as I have said all the other buses
behave as they should,in fact I have added another bus,with no problems,
plus, there is also one that comes in from another point on the map,and goes out again. I have as yet not changed the bus or driver,dont know if it will help at all.

Sorry, but all I have are more questions:

What happens if you add another bus or driver to the same track?
What happens if you remove the next stop in the list?
 
Some Checks

Not had this trouble my self

1.Check the invisable point levers make sure the postion is right, if wrong confuses the AI and it won't take notices of anything else.

2. is the layot have full invisble signals, the Ai need them to work out where it is going.

3. I am guessing your using the left hand version for these buses or the UK Bus stops have used both with no troubles. if you have used the righthand ones with no signs as left, this might be your problem.

4. Some sone suggest to me to use Track marks at each stop and go to them to get the bus to the right postion. because the bus stops within the correct distance it still loads and unloads as normal. The terminate command might not beacause it says you need to tell it to go to a interactive stop.

5 When I downloaded Crown City it had some trouble wwhere the buses did not want to enter the stop from the correct direction and instead went past and backed in due to trackwork design, partly caused by point 1 and the other design, you might need to play with the track arragment to it works. Some times the smallest alterations gives result.

Who is the Driver?

"Let's call him Skip!"

It may sound facetious, but have you tried changing the driver?

Alistair - I think it is deliberate so that the memory of the real Alistair lives on with us - can cause mayhem if you leave him in charge of AI trains, boats or buses! He often beetles off in the wrong direction at junctions or fails to stop when required!

Try changing the driver character - you might be surprised!
