Disappearing Driver Schedules In Surveyor

Why is it whenever I create a set of driver commands in Surveyor (TRS2010), I save the changes then come out of Surveyor.
Then when I go back into surveyor all my Drivers Commands have disappeared????
Very annoying!!!
Never had this problem in previous versions of TRS.

You're opening the Route for edit, but the driver commands get saved to a session. Then you go back out and re-open the route again which causes the creation of a blank session. You need to open the session you saved instead. (And remember that when opening/creating a route the default layer is route, when opening/creating a session the default layer will be session. I do most of my route editing after opening the session, so that I can test the changes, so I have to remember to change the active layer.)

Just did as u said and I've lost my session, all I have left is the map.
Tracks, stations everything has gone !!!!

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you by chance click on an eye icon on the layer menu? Clicking the eye icons will hide/show that layer. If an eye icon has a closed eye, then try clicking it.

Edit: And for future reference, when talking about a problem it helps to know exactly what you did that got you to the point you are at.

As I always did in 09 & 06.....created a landscape, added the route, added rolling stock & driver commands saved it all...driver schedules not there when I reopened my route!

I had the same problem with 2010... I spent a whole day working on my layout... next day everything had disappeared, track and buildings but the textures where there as were the contours I had created... Also sometimes when I go to save, it comes up sometimes with the name of the route and sometimes it comes up with saving to default? Before long I found I had 9 sessions listed...???? At the rate I save I will have a list as long as my arm? I sometimes think that it would be nice if my tired 73 year old brain knew what it/I was doing.... Which sessions should I delete? From the top or from the bottom? What happens if I keep the top and bottom sessions and delete the rest? Thankfully some of the younger brains come up with answers in the forum.. :Y:

Driver Session instructions will not load after SAVING

I have tried 3 or 4 TS2010EE Driver Routes & Sessions and each time I SAVE a route after completing a portion of it, go back and open the SAVED session later, the Driver Instructions will not appear again. The Waybills button works but not he Instructions button. Any ideas???

Thanks in advance!

To re-open a session you do this:
1. Go to the routes screen.
2. Click on the route you want to work on.
3. Click the Sessions button.
4. Click the session you want to work on.
5. Click Edit Session.
6. Change the layer if needed from the layer panel, default layer for this will be Session. If you're going to be working with track and stuff like that you might want to use Route instead. (Unlike older versions you can actually have track, buildings, and almost anything else on the session layer so you could make different sessions with different track layouts but all sharing the same basic route file.)

The eye icon I mentioned is on the layer panel. Every layer will have an eye icon and a lock icon. If an eye is "closed" then that layer is hidden.

And for the guy who's getting a whole bunch of sessions, that sounds like you keep opening the route for edit and thus keep making new sessions.

I have a similar problem, missing Session.
I can see the Session in Content Manager, My Content. Have opened for edit and commited then launched Trainz. Still not showing.
It is missing dependencies, but so is the route (Cajon Pass).
Have also done a database repair.
Any help most appreciated.
