As promised, I have just uploaded two sessions for the RiversideRailroadCo.
In part they are meant to familiarize locomotive engineers with the route; in part to serve as a template for other sessions (the AI trainz are configured to run southbound in Desiro and northbound in Hudson, and all the locomotive facilities are configured to provide coal and water).
And of course I hope they entertain the user.
DesirableDesiro places the user in the cab of a two unit Desiro railcar. It's an all stops passenger service from one extremity of the route to the other:
"Chuck, Joe, Dispatcher here. Welcome to your first day with our new Company.
You can treat this as an introductory tour, but remember our passengers are also depending on you to maintain schedule. You will be driving our new two unit Desiro railcar.
You start at the Minerals Loader, then pick up at Conoco, the Teamsters Yard, the Container Terminal and then to the Caboose Spur at Loco. Head north, stopping at Lys Harbor Station, Fingers Foundry and all stops to Diaspar. Terminate at Anderson Milling before stabling at the Diaspar bay platform.
Then report for further instructions."
HudsonTour makes you take charge of a steam hauled tour train, with a Milwaukee Hudson southbound and a Victorian Railways Hudson northbound:
"Chuck, Joe - our fame has travelled far and wide. Tour train operators want to run passenger trains over our scenic riverside section using our collection of historic steam locomotives that we use in everyday service.
In the bay platform at Diaspar you will find three panoramic passenger cars. Coal and water your Milwaukee Hudson and then position the passenger cars at the main platform. Departure is scheduled for 0700.
Run through to Lys with a stop at Armour, and take the Milwaukee Hudson to Loco. Coal and water the VR Hudson and return with the tour train to Diaspar, with a stop at Riverside. Position the cars in the bay platform, return to Loco and contact me for your next duties."
Desiro uses all built-in content. Hudson requires a passenger car from:

Scroll down to SBB Apm, kuid 143205:15144, download the file and install it by double clicking on the .cdp file.
Please don't be deterred by the need to go to an external site to download this asset - this passenger car is absolutely outstanding.
It is also possible that Download Helper may not capture the loco crew, kuid 44090:57003, for the VR Hudson steam locomotive and you may have to download this manually from the Download Station.
As with all my sessions, part of the challenge is interacting with the AI trainz. Do give way to them - they will not give way to you. Using the map view (M-key) helps to locate the AI trainz.
Maps and a readme are included in the folder containing the sessions. The maps and readme for the route can also be found at:
http://www.users.on.net/~pskene/RRC1a_maps_readme.zip
For those attempting the challenge of driving the steamers in cab mode (is there any other way?) for the first time, this thread may also help:

For those interested, the route is:
And these are the thumbnails that should appear soon on a Download Station near you:
Good luck,
Phil
