Derailed rolling stock

After a derailment, where does the damaged rolling stock go?

Assuming you have the “delete derailed consist” setting on, the derailed rolling stock is deleted from the route.

Obviously, the asset is still in the database, but in the session it’s gone, gone, gone…

I figured as much, but couldn't find a concrete answer. Thank you.

...Maybe Trainz 2035 will have a repair shop....
